Hello, my name is Roger Maxwell, Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Keene, NH. I would like to personally welcome you to our website. I am so happy that you have taken the time to learn more about us. We are a newly established church in Keene with the mission of telling others about the mission of Jesus Christ through Bible based teaching, preaching and by sharing the love of Christ with you, our neighbors. We hope that you will visit soon and be our honored guest. However, if you would like, you can listen to some of our "sermons", right here on our website. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "for all have sinned".  Because of our sin, the Bible further states in Romans 6:23 "the wages of sin is death". However, in Romans 5:8 we find this good news: "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us".  It is because of this truth the Bible can say in Romans 10:13 "for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". Please take a moment and ask yourself this question: Have I ever called upon the name of the Lord to be saved? We look forward to meeting you.
