July
July 25 and 28:
Pastor Frank Camp of Maranatha Baptist Church will be with us on these two
days for a mini Family Camp. Brother Camp is the Pastor of our
sending church in Shelby, NC.
August
August 1:
This coming Sunday will be our dinner-on-the-grounds
and salvation Sunday! The morning services will be at the regular
times followed by a dinner and the "evening" service. Every one
should bring a main dish, a vegetable, and a drink to feed their family
plus a few others. After the meal we will have salvation Sunday
where we share our testimony of how we were saved.
August 8-13:
Evangelist Bill Hall will be with us once again for our Summer Revival
services.
August 14:
A tentative date has been set for our second summer
picnic at Surry Dam State Park. Look for upcoming times and events
as we get closer.
August 27-28:
THE WILDS of New England will be hosting a
Father/Son Campout. Ken Collier, the director and president of THE
WILDS of North Carolina will be the main speaker along with his son Evan
Collier. The cost will be $75.00 for a father and one son and $15.00
for each additional son.
September
September 10-11:
THE WILDS of New England will be hosting a Men's Purity Conference.
Men, our purity is under attack. Between the media and the Internet,
temptations are getting bigger, faster, and stronger, and more appealing
every day. TWNE's Men's Purity Conference offers strategic help to
gain victory over the flesh through step-by-step instructions on Scripture
meditation. The cost will be $65.00 per individual and the minimum
age (grade) is 9th grade.
September 17-18:
Attention Ladies! THE WILDS of New England's
pioneer Ladies Retreat is sure to be a highlight of the year.
Fellowship, fun, good food, laughter, and loving, biblical confrontation
from the Word of God will encourage your heart and help you draw closer to
your Lord. The speaker will be Beth Lynch and she will put a smile
on your face and a tear in your eye as she shares God's goodness.
The cost will be $65.00 per individual and the minimum age is 16.
